The award-winning author Erik Speyer was born in Argentina, who was raised in Denmark, South America and the United States, began painting as a child. He has continued this passion throughout his life, even while flying for the U.S. Navy, designing museum exhibits, and directing a science museum. He is a full time, prize-winning artist now, with watercolors and oils hanging in galleries and in private and corporate collections in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to Kubi Meets Rosita, Erik published The Adventures of Kubi with Cuento de Luz.
